Internal Arts Anatomy and Physiology

We are pleased to invite our friend Wes Tasker to discuss Properties of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Internal Alchemy! This lecture will discuss the Three Treasures and how they unfold and form the body with its Organ Systems (and their various Root Emotions, Spirits, Functions, Etc.), we will then identify the 12 Upright Meridians, 8 Extraordinary Vessels, various Dantian and the Sinew Channels. Then we will look at how all this applies to the practice of the Internal Arts (Taijiquan, Xingyiquan, Baguazhang), Qigong / Neigong, Daoyin and Yangsheng. Along with various metaphors used in the teaching of the Internal Arts borrowed from the Yijing (Classic of Changes) and Neidan (Internal Alchemy). If there is time, we may also get into 5 Elements Qi Gong. It is certain to be a fun day! This goes from 9am-10:30am, and is $30. Paypal, Venmo, cash or check are available for non-Wu Dao students. We are excited to announce Shifu Shi De Cheng's return to Wu Dao this Fall!

He will be teaching workshops Friday evening and Saturday during the day.

Friday:

--YOUTH WORKSHOP: He will be working through Lian Han Chuan and some Shaolin basics for warm up.

4:30-5:30pm for Children (With Permission), Juniors & Teens - $30.

--ADULT WORKSHOP: locking, throws, self- defense.

6-7pm Friday evening. (Teen students are welcome to attend with permission from Shi-Jie) - $30.

Saturday:

--SHAOLIN TAI CHI/QI GONG: review of Qi Gong basics with Shaolin flavor - $45.

9:00-10:30am (Teen students are welcome to attend with permission from Shi-Jie)

-- REGULAR KUNG FU CLASS: regular class: 11-12pm (Adults only as usual)

1-3pm Shaolin Hand Forms (Level Appropriate) - $60.
